reimagined for another hundred years
A history reimagined was the main source of inspiration for this project. Originally constructed in 1909, this one-of-a-kind craftsman home was carefully restored and enhanced with modern fixtures and all new electrical and plumbing systems. As part of Rainier Valley’s history, it would originally have been home to Taylor Mill lumber employees. The masculine influences of the industrial history were contrasted with a fresh palette. Custom wood built-ins with traditionally finished oiled-mahogany accented this full-home redesign that will now last another 100 years.
"We love our home and, to this day, we still get a lot of neighbors who pass by the front of the house telling us how beautiful it is. We feel very lucky to have found this gem."
